Yamatai Shield
A shield of Yamatai design
Shield Effect: Shieldsmash DLC: Seekers of the Dawn Pack ID: 3207
The people of Yamatai trade regularly along the eastern coastline of the Thurian continent - and their dhows can be seen docked from Vendhya and Kambuja to Paikang in Khitai. They have access to purer forms of metal on their volcanic islands than many of the cultures on the main continent.
About Yamatai Shield
Yamatai Shield is a Shield in Conan Exiles. It deals 12 light damage, 12 heavy damage, and 12.15% armor penetration. It is a Tier 1 item.
Yamatai Shield is a craftable weapon — it is produced at a crafting station rather than dropped by enemies. It is part of the "Seekers of the Dawn Pack" DLC, so players without that content cannot obtain it. Tier 1 places it in the lower band of the game's weapon progression.
Its base damage of 12 ranks #69 of 87 Shield entries tracked here. It has a modest 12.15% armor penetration, 10 poise damage that helps interrupt enemies, and 1250 durability before it needs repair. At 2.31 weight it is light to carry.
Carried off-hand to block and shield-bash; pair it with a one-handed weapon for a defensive bruiser build.
Verdict: Overall Yamatai Shield is a lower-damage option among Shield weapons in Conan Exiles, and being craftable makes it easy to replace if it breaks.
