Poitain War-Axe
A war-axe of rare quality
One Handed Axe Epic Scales: Strength Effect: Bleed, Cripple, Shieldsmash DLC: Riders of Hyboria Pack ID: 2625
The fierce Lords of the Poitain disprove the notion that hard men must come from hard lands. Indeed, the gleaming spires and gilded frescos of Aquilonia's most southern province frame a land of uncommon warmth and abundance. And like the beautiful and terrible blades they are known for, the scions of the Poitain have been sharpened by centuries of warfare with covetous neighbors.
About Poitain War-Axe
Poitain War-Axe is an Epic One Handed Axe in Conan Exiles. It deals 43 light damage and 47 heavy damage. Its damage scales with Strength. It is a Tier 1 item.
Poitain War-Axe is a craftable weapon — it is produced at a crafting station rather than dropped by enemies. It is part of the "Riders of Hyboria Pack" DLC, so players without that content cannot obtain it. Tier 1 places it in the lower band of the game's weapon progression.
Its base damage of 43 ranks #41 of 109 One Handed Axe entries tracked here. It has a 8-stamina cost per basic swing, 10 poise damage that helps interrupt enemies, and 900 durability before it needs repair. At 3.82 weight it is light to carry.
Axe combos trade some speed for raw damage and reliable cleaving.
Verdict: Overall Poitain War-Axe is a middle-of-the-pack option among One Handed Axe weapons in Conan Exiles, and being craftable makes it easy to replace if it breaks.
