Poitain Katana
A curved, single-edged blade of rare quality
Katana Epic Scales: Agility Effect: Bleed DLC: Riders of Hyboria Pack ID: 2624
The fierce Lords of the Poitain disprove the notion that hard men must come from hard lands. Indeed, the gleaming spires and gilded frescos of Aquilonia's most southern province frame a land of uncommon warmth and abundance. And like the beautiful and terrible blades they are known for, the scions of the Poitain have been sharpened by centuries of warfare with covetous neighbors.
About Poitain Katana
Poitain Katana is an Epic Katana in Conan Exiles. It deals 43 light damage, 52 heavy damage, and 12.15% armor penetration. Its damage scales with Agility. It is a Tier 1 item.
Poitain Katana is a craftable weapon — it is produced at a crafting station rather than dropped by enemies. It is part of the "Riders of Hyboria Pack" DLC, so players without that content cannot obtain it. Tier 1 places it in the lower band of the game's weapon progression.
Its base damage of 43 ranks #22 of 50 Katana entries tracked here. It has a modest 12.15% armor penetration, a 9-stamina cost per basic swing, 10 poise damage that helps interrupt enemies, and 900 durability before it needs repair. At 4.16 weight it is light to carry.
A balanced blade with quick combos and decent reach, good for both duels and small skirmishes.
Verdict: Overall Poitain Katana is a middle-of-the-pack option among Katana weapons in Conan Exiles, and being craftable makes it easy to replace if it breaks.
