Poitain Heavy Lance
A heavy pole weapon of rare quality
Lance Scales: Strength Effect: Reach DLC: Riders of Hyboria Pack ID: 2773
The fierce Lords of the Poitain disprove the notion that hard men must come from hard lands. Indeed, the gleaming spires and gilded frescos of Aquilonia's most southern province frame a land of uncommon warmth and abundance. And like the beautiful and terrible blades they are known for, the scions of the Poitain have been sharpened by centuries of warfare with covetous neighbors.
About Poitain Heavy Lance
Poitain Heavy Lance is a Lance in Conan Exiles. It deals 9 light damage, 9 heavy damage, and 24.3% armor penetration. Its damage scales with Strength. It is a Tier 1 item.
Poitain Heavy Lance is a craftable weapon — it is produced at a crafting station rather than dropped by enemies. It is part of the "Riders of Hyboria Pack" DLC, so players without that content cannot obtain it. Tier 1 places it in the lower band of the game's weapon progression.
Its base damage of 9 ranks #7 of 10 Lance entries tracked here. It has 24.3% armor penetration, enough to matter against armored foes, a 9-stamina cost per basic swing, 10 poise damage that helps interrupt enemies, and 175 durability before it needs repair. At 19.25 weight it is moderate to carry.
Its long reach lets you poke from outside most enemies' swing range — excellent for kiting groups.
Verdict: Overall Poitain Heavy Lance is a middle-of-the-pack option among Lance weapons in Conan Exiles, and being craftable makes it easy to replace if it breaks.
