Khitan Bow
A bow in the Khitan style
Bow Epic Scales: Agility DLC: The Imperial East Pack ID: 8241
When the horse-archers of Hyrkania came raiding into the Empire of Khitai, the locals found themselves unable to stand against the onslaught. The superiority of the horsemen and their archery made short work of the poorly-trained and poorly-prepared locals.
About Khitan Bow
Khitan Bow is an Epic Bow in Conan Exiles. It deals 18 light damage, 18 heavy damage, and 8.1% armor penetration. Its damage scales with Agility. It is a Tier 3 item.
Khitan Bow is a craftable weapon — it is produced at a crafting station rather than dropped by enemies. It is part of the "The Imperial East Pack" DLC, so players without that content cannot obtain it. Tier 3 places it in the middle band of the game's weapon progression.
Its base damage of 18 ranks #28 of 87 Bow entries tracked here. It has a modest 8.1% armor penetration, a 4-stamina cost per basic swing, 10 poise damage that helps interrupt enemies, and 1000 durability before it needs repair. At 3.33 weight it is light to carry.
A ranged option: open with a heavy draw from distance, then switch to melee once the target closes in.
Verdict: Overall Khitan Bow is a strong pick among Bow weapons in Conan Exiles, and being craftable makes it easy to replace if it breaks.
