Iron Targe
A targe covered by iron shielding
Shield Effect: Shieldsmash ID: 51611
Strengthened with iron, this targe sacrifices some of its manoeuvrability for additional durability. The knobs on the front of the shield are designed to notch the weapons and claws of foes.

Iron Targe is a craftable weapon — it is produced at a crafting station rather than dropped by enemies. Tier 2 places it in the lower band of the game's weapon progression.
Its base damage of 16 ranks #56 of 87 Shield entries tracked here. It has a modest 12.15% armor penetration, 10 poise damage that helps interrupt enemies, and 1250 durability before it needs repair. At 2.31 weight it is light to carry.
Carried off-hand to block and shield-bash; pair it with a one-handed weapon for a defensive bruiser build.
Verdict: Overall Iron Targe is a middle-of-the-pack option among Shield weapons in Conan Exiles, and being craftable makes it easy to replace if it breaks.
